Charrettes are intensive three to five day design and planning sessions involving architects, planners, developers, etc.... The goal of these sessions is the start-to-finish design of a new development or infill project. Images on this page span a variety of styles and levels of complexity, illustrating what can be done over the course of a charette. This image is a street view scene of a sustainable infill project along Shooks Run in Colorado Springs. The client wished to highlight urban gardens, green roofs, and solar panels. Ink and Watercolor. 2008.
